The Greene Space, 44 Charlton Street, New York, NY, 10014
The Studio Museum in Harlem and WNYC are thrilled to announce the third annual collaboration between the station's street–level performance venue, The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space
, and the Museum's Artist–in–Residence
Joining together visual arts and public radio programming, this partnership engages a broad cross–section of diverse audiences. The program kicks off at The Greene Space on November 2 at 6:30 pm with a conversation between 2016–17 Studio Museum artists in residence
Autumn Knight, Julia Phillips, Andy Robert and program alumni Lauren Kelley, Elia Alba, and Wardell Milan. The conversation will be moderated by Rebecca Carroll, a producer of special projects on race at WNYC. Also on view at The Greene Space will be works by Phillips and Robert, as well as a special episode of Knight's Sanity TV
on November 7.
By partnering with The Greene Space, the Studio Museum deepens its commitment to supporting emerging artists and diversifying the platforms through which the public is invited to engage and gain greater insight to the seminal program that, in part, gives the Museum its name.
